Information coordination and Reporting Directorate

The Directorate for Coordination of Information and Reporting is working to develop an electronic M&E system, tracking and reporting mechanism in order to establish effective relations between the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and all government agencies for implementing the president’s programs. In addition, the purpose of these systems is to encourage government agencies to improve their performances in accordance with the President’s overall goals. Furthermore, it encourages and helps the government agencies to undertake capacity-building programs, which by itself is a goal of the President.

 

Duties:

  • Establishing a transparent and accurate reporting system between H.E the President, ministries and other relevant agencies.

  • Providing primary data for all ministries and government agencies.

  • Analysis of monthly data from ministries and government agencies.

  • Preparation of reports for senior government officials.

  • Sharing success stories with media to raise public awareness about the performances of the government and build an environment to strengthen trust between citizens and the government.
